# SaaS UX audit

A SaaS UX audit is a one to two week expert review of your live product that finds what slows users down and ranks every fix by impact. You get a prioritized fix list, the evidence behind each issue and redesigned versions of the key screens. It is the fastest way to know what to fix first, before you commit to a full redesign.

## When does a product need a UX audit?

Hover or tap a card to see how I fix it. Most projects start with one of these.

01

### Users get stuck and you don't know where

Support tickets and churn point at problems, but not at the screens causing them.

Every key journey walked as each user type and checked for usability, accessibility and your goals.

02

### Every team has a different list of fixes

Without evidence, the loudest opinion sets the roadmap.

Each issue ranked by impact and effort, with the screen, the evidence and the fix.

03

### A full redesign feels too big to start

You need to know what's broken before you commit months of budget.

High-fidelity redesigns of the screens that matter most, ready to test or build.

## What does a SaaS UX audit check?

Eight areas, reviewed for every key journey and every user type. Each issue is logged with a screenshot, the evidence and a suggested fix.

1. 01 **Key journeys**

Sign-up, onboarding and the tasks people pay you for, step by step.
2. 02 **Navigation and structure**

Whether people find things without guessing or asking support.
3. 03 **Dashboards and data**

Whether the numbers that matter stand out from the noise.
4. 04 **Roles and permissions**

Each user type sees what it can act on, and nothing it shouldn't.
5. 05 **Forms, errors and empty states**

Validation, recovery and what people see before there is any data.
6. 06 **Accessibility**

WCAG 2.2 contrast, focus order, keyboard use and screen reader basics.
7. 07 **Copy and labels**

Plain words and the same term for the same thing everywhere.
8. 08 **Consistency**

Components and patterns that look and behave the same on every screen.

Questions

## What do clients ask?

How long does a UX audit take?

One to two weeks from kickoff to readout, depending on how many user types and key journeys your product has.

What do you need from us?

Access to the product (a test account for each role is ideal), your goals, and any analytics, support tickets or research you already have. Plus one kickoff call and one readout call with your team.

Is an audit useful before a redesign?

Yes. It tells you which problems are worth fixing first, so a redesign starts from evidence instead of opinions. Many projects start with an audit and continue as a design project.

Can you audit FinTech and Arabic products?

Yes. I review KYC, payment and approval flows with what I learned designing for American Express, and Arabic RTL screens for mirroring, Arabic type and number formats.

What does a UX audit cost?

It depends on the size of the product and how many user types it has. Send a short brief and you get a fixed price before any work starts.

Will you also fix the issues?

If you want. I can redesign the screens as a design project, or design and build with my studio's developers.
